In anticipation of June’s Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) annual conference for enrollment, admissions, and school administrators, we want to highlight AISAP’s new Leadership for Enrollment and Admission Professionals (LEAP) program.

We were proud sponsors of the LEAP program this year and are grateful for the collaboration and valuable insights gained during this sponsorship.

AISAP is the only association that has admission and enrollment management professionals as its sole mission and focus. It brings together an incredible group of over 3,000 professionals who share experiences and insights in all aspects of independent school and private school admission and enrollment management.

As part of AISAP’s commitment to serving K-12 private school admission and enrollment professionals, they launched the AISAP LEAP program. This year-long program focuses on helping the personal and professional growth of individuals who are both current leaders and the next generation of leaders in their field.

The LEAP program is designed specifically for professionals in the admission and enrollment field who are ready to enhance their leadership skills while tackling enduring and emergent challenges within the independent school community.

During the year-long LEAP program initiative, and as part of the sponsorship, two of our Community Brands’ K-12 Education Solutions leaders met regularly with enrollment and admissions leaders from ten different independent K-12 schools. The experience was beneficial and illuminative for the entire group and new avenues of innovation were exchanged and supported throughout the year.

Craig Dodson, VP of Support, and Corey Pudhorodsky, SVP of Customer Experience, were the representatives in the group from Community Brands.

“We enjoyed our experience with this group so much and we all learned more about one another and what challenges independent schools face. The entire program was dynamic and fascinating. The aha moment for me is just how significant this year-long program can be in the lives of the professional participants. It is a resume builder for them, but also immensely impactful with the skills these individuals will bring back to their institutions. There are not many programs like this in the profession, so how these individuals will be empowered to lead their institutions, along with the profession, after program completion is quite significant.” says Dodson.

Members participated in grounded in-person and virtual sessions to help power collaboration, support, and solid working relationships. The growth of group members brought immediate impact to their own independent and private school communities, as well as knowledge share with the broader field of independent school admission and enrollment management professionals.

Corey Pudhorodsky, SVP of Customer Experience, recalls his favorite moment, “I admire how the entire LEAP Program was planned with such intention and expertise. From the in-person events to the remote sessions, the entire program has built trust and understanding among the participants and facilitators, encouraged upcoming leaders to be optimistic about their profession, and created a foundation that is certainly going to create many alumni of innovative enrollment leaders. From learning about the principles of evidenced-based research to learning new skills on having constructive conversations, LEAP equips leaders on how to bring the whole selves and best attributes to their schools.”

Providing valuable information to this ever-evolving and growing industry of independent and private K-12 professionals is what keeps AISAP inspired and motivated. All schools will be featured in a discussion panel at the AISAP annual event in June.

“We are delighted to have Community Brands continue to serve as the primary supporter for the second year of AISAP’s LEAP program.  This program is our flagship initiative offering comprehensive training, mentorship, and resources to enrollment and admission professionals in independent schools worldwide. As a trusted technology partner in the K-12 private and independent school space, Community Brands brings a wealth of collaboration, insight, and expertise to LEAP participants. Together, we are developing future-focused growth strategies to ensure the ongoing success of admissions and enrollment for independent schools,” noted Janice Crampton, Executive Director of AISAP.

Community Brands is committed to serving schools, families, and administrators with solutions to help make their work streamlined and future-focused for growth.

AISAP’s primary focus is on professional growth for their members – to empower enrollment professionals to better serve families and their school communities by being the best, most ethical professionals in the field. Their strong commitment to their members is evident in their framework connected to all webinars, events, etc. that they host.
