Financial Aid

This is the fifth post in our six-part blog series, Elevating Your Recruiting and Relationship Management. This series will highlight six specific functionalities available with the newest level of our best-in-class admissions solution, Ravenna ADMIT Premium. Follow along to learn how Premium can help you increase the top of your admission funnel, communicate more strategically, get better insight into an applicant’s engagement and make more strategic, better-informed decisions.

Did you know that ADMIT Premium has advanced financial aid capabilities?

Premium’s enhanced financial aid tools will allow you to:

  • Easily integrate your financial aid information into ADMIT
  • Compare and report on your financial aid data with all other admission data
  • Control who has access to view and edit financial aid information in ADMIT

With ADMIT Premium, we now have two additional roles in ADMIT: Financial Aid Manager and Financial Aid Viewer. A Viewer is able to see financial aid information like a family’s application status and award amounts, while a Manager is able to view, import and edit that information. The addition of these two roles will allow you to closely control who has access to view sensitive financial aid information about each of your applicants.

With Premium, you can view a student’s pertinent financial aid information directly in their profile on ADMIT’s new “Financial Aid” tab. The data that you see here is now also in what we call “first-class-fields,” giving you greater control over the information and the ability to better report on your financial aid information against other admission data. Financial aid data can be uploaded in bulk or synced from SSS if you use SSS as your financial aid management system.

Most of the data that you bring into ADMIT is not designed to be edited or changed in ADMIT, as Premium’s financial aid tools are not meant to replace your financial aid management system. However, two fields can be edited and updated directly in ADMIT: final status and final award amount. This will allow you to see everything that you need to know about an applicant in one place and make your final admission and financial aid decisions armed with all the information you need.
